Meet The Team

Owner & Instructor
Tricia
I love an adventure! Outside of travels, backpacking, sailing & hiking with my husband and three boys, yoga has been my journey for many years. Hot yoga has been a new favorite since the birth of Indigo. I have a passion for sharing all the beautiful aspects of yoga, not just asana but the opportunity for creating a community, living a yogic life, self-reflection and for finding stillness & unity.
I completed 300 hours with James Miller of Adamantine Yoga and am working on 300 hours with Carole Westerman of Evolve to Harmony. I earned my yin yoga certification with Bernie Clark and spent over a year studying Yoga/Ayurveda with Maria Garre of the New Mexico School of Yoga. I've rounded my studies with other yoga sequencing workshops, Reiki studies and certifications in barre fitness, kettlebells, cycle, and personal training.

Instructor
Nina
My name is Nina. My interests outside of teaching fitness classes are hiking, pizza, running, travel, music, and nature. My friends describe me as a “wine enthusiast”. I love to teach classes with themes/intentions to use on and off my mat. My class playlists cover several music genres and I hope you leave my class singing a yacht rock song or smiling to yourself “thinking how did we do yoga to that song?”. I believe it’s ok to laugh during yoga and that you will never have a perfect practice. What matters most in fitness classes is that you leave feeling better then when you started class Nina earned her 200RYT with Kris' Hot Yoga.

Instructor
Megan
I remember after my first barre class I was hooked! I’ve been practicing barre since 2015, and recently began teaching in 2019. I love how a great playlist can drive the vibe of a class! My husband, and adorable dog Leia, live in West Des Moines, and I am a middle school science teacher!

Instructor
Kelly
Hi, my name is Kelly and I have been teaching Group Fitness for over 15 years. At Indigo, I teach Cycle and Sculpt, as well as my signature class Four Squared. Funny name, but it's really a heated yoga boot camp where we challenge our bodies through a series of 16 different movements of 16 repetitions each. We never do the same sequence twice, but one thing is always the same--you will work hard and you will channel your inner athlete! Even more than the workout, however, I take great pride in putting together a slamming playlist!
I've been married to my husband Matt for 13 years and have 2 daughters, Maddie (age 12) and Hannah (age 10). When I'm not working out or Uber-ing my kids to all their activities, I am the SVP of Customer Experience for Wells Fargo Home Lending. In class, you might hear anything from stories about growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, to my indecisiveness between pushups or deadlifts as my all time favorite exercise, to why I love to talk to my dumbbells, even though they don't talk back! My workout philosophy is to get strong, not small....and I hope to see you in a class soon!
For you Four Squared regulars, let us all know what is your favorite part of class?
